TERRY HAGGIN MINISTRIES

Spiritual stuff: Well, pretty simple really. Born in a Christian home but never saved until 1983. A few years later, I heard a tape by Kenneth Hagin and it changed my life. Went to a local bible school in 1988. Preached for the first time in 1988 too so I've been at it for more than 35 years now. In 1990, decided to go to RHEMA and graduated in 1992. Served as a bible school dean's aide, children's minister, youth minister, associate pastor, and Bible school teacher. In the past 35 years I have written 24 books, like "God Sees Your Pain", "The Importance of Speaking in Tongues", "If they had Great Faith, so can You", "You are God's Garden", "Don't Be against Yourself", "How to Have Good Habits", "The Tangible Power of God" plus others. Also, guest speaker and teacher throughout the United States.

 

Academic stuff: In 1992, I graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center. In 1998, I graduated with a BA from U.C. Berkeley with graduate and undergraduate courses in English/Folklore. In 2018, I completed a CS program at Stanford University. Currently taking 2 programs at the Wharton School of Business in Business Fundamentals and Data Analysis. In 2024, my paper on Walt Whitman and the incorrect interpretation of the Bible that directly led to the practice of Manifest Destiny, and the destruction of our planet, was selected to be presented at the Stanford University Bay Honors Symposium. Soon after my paper was presented at Stanford, I went back to Stanford for their official summer session in 2024 to take a graduate course in Decision Analysis (Ethical Analyzation). In Fall 2025, I participated in the Google-Foothill Digital Divide 2.0 Case Competition. As you can see, I like school.

​Scholarship Reader – UC Berkeley Scholarship Reader and Evaluator for Leadership and Alumni Scholarships - 2008 - Present · 16 yrs 11 months. I read essays of qualified applicants who are applying for various alumni scholarships, and evaluate them for approval. Then, I turn them in to the Berkeley Alumni Association, who then use my recommendation inputs.

​Panelist - Parent / Student Orientation Weekend - University of California, Berkeley - May 2019 - Present · 6 yrs 7 months - I was asked to be one of three University of Berkeley panelists for the Student / Parent Orientation Weekend. I answered questions, and spoke about the benefits and challenges of being a Berkeley parent, and student, to over 1000 attendees. Afterward, I was also asked to represent the College of Letters and Sciences Department for further questions. 

​College Fair Ambassador and Speaker - University of California, Berkeley - 2000 - Present · 25 yrs 11 months - I represent U.C. Berkeley as an Ambassador Alumni to various Jr. Colleges and High Schools in Northern California at university-sanctioned College Fairs. I also speak to interested students and parents about how to improve their chances of being accepted to Berkeley, as well as what is generally required by Berkeley to be considered academically.

 

Business stuff: For 14 years, I was Director of Sales of Goshen Ledge / Roof Care until 1998. From 1998 until 2020, I was the founder and CTO of Internet Traffic School. In 1999, I founded and helped launch, with the help of angel investors and venture capitalists, the first comparison shopping network, Compareitall.com. In 2020, I built, and am currently the founder, of Stop Global Destruction.org. In 2024, I also wrote a book on value investing and Warren Buffett called, "Warren Buffett's Simple Investing Strategy." Fun life so far.
